Commercial Cleaning Franchise Expands To Greenville, NC

Jantize® America, the emerging franchisor of commercial cleaning services, has continued its expansion with the sale of the area development rights to the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC, "The UpState" territory to local professionals Guy Luksic and Ed Barry. The sale brings promising expansion into major markets and unparalleled corporate support for the area developers.

The Guy-Bar team brings mixed professional backgrounds to the franchise table. Dogtopia Washes Dogs To Raise Money For K-9 Law Enforcement Units

                         

Hundreds of dogs across the country were bathed, towel-dried and spritzed this past weekend all in the name of charity. Dogtopia, a chain of upscale dog day care and spa facilities, held its 5th Annual Charity Dog Wash to benefit working dogs, raising a record amount of money for their four-legged friends.

From California to Maryland, 14 Dogtopia locations held simultaneous dog washes - most to benefit local law enforcement K-9 Units - and raised $15,000 across the board. In all, about 750 dogs were washed throughout the weekend.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of helping several military veterans make the transition to franchise/small business ownership, in my local area.

Each time I made a successful franchise match with a veteran, it felt special.

Please don't get me wrong here. I always get energized when I am able to move a candidate of mine away from a traditional job search, to something more entrepreneurial in nature.

For me though, helping someone who has had the courage to take the real risks associated with serving our country is just so darn powerful, that I want to do more of it. A lot more.

My franchise consulting practice is more geographically focused than most. I really enjoy helping my local community with their business growth, and that's what happens when I am able to help a candidate of mine open a franchise business. New business-new jobs.

After some careful thought, I have decided to expand my reach and will now be working with military veterans across the entire US.

In the next few years, thousands of veterans, who have been serving overseas, will be coming home. I want to make sure that if they choose the business ownership route, and a franchise business is on their radar, they will be able to learn about their options in a professional, and non-threatening way.

Veteran Franchise Opportunities; Technology Related Franchise Waives $29,995 Franchise Fee

DotComGuy, an information technology (IT) services and products company for small to mid-sized businesses and residential home offices, today announced that it is waiving its $29,995 franchise fee for qualified, honorably discharged military veterans. Offered through June 2009, DotComGuy enacted this program in hopes of providing U.S. military veterans with a lucrative business ownership opportunity.

Now, just because a franchise company is waiving it's franchise fee, doesn't mean that this franchise is the right one for you. I have not vetted it, and, quite frankly, I am not familiar with it, at all. But that doesn't mean it is not a good franchise to invest in.

International Franchise Association Gives Thumbs Up To House Voting Yes On Bailout Bill

The IFA his applauding the YES vote on the bailout/rescue bill....

New Veteran's Website Goes Live. And It's a SDVOB!

This Veteran Franchise Specialist just joined a new Veteran's focused website, called iVeteran.US. This huge website also happens to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. {SDVOB}

The website appears to add some cool technology, lots of current event news, and lots of humor. Here is how the site is described...
