Two things have formed my life since early adulthood; a desire to help and a need for structure.

 

When I retired from the Army Nurse Corps in 1996 after a thirty year military career, I didn’t need to work; I had everything I needed and most of what I wanted. However, the sense of duty that has been my driving force since youth led me to seek opportunities to be of service to others.

The Obama administration is moving ahead with it's ARC {American Recovery Act} program for existing small business owners. This is great news for small business owners all over the US.

Here are the details;

Borrowers can apply for interest-free loans of up to $35,000 to help cover their payments for six months on existing debt, with no repayment due on the ARC loan for 12 months. The loans will come from banks and other authorized lenders, but the SBA will offer those lenders a 100% guarantee on the loans - meaning that if the business owner defaults, the government foots the bill.

That sound like a plan.

Having Serious Fun As A Franchise Owner; Can You?

                                                                                                                 

As a business owner myself, I make sure that I have fun while doing business. it's too darn stressful to not have a laugh or three every day. But, how realistic is it for you, the prospective franchise owner, to think that there is a franchise out there that will get you so energized, that you leap out of your bed, every morning?
