As a business owner myself, I make sure that I have fun while doing business. it's too darn stressful to not have a laugh or three every day. But, how realistic is it for you, the prospective franchise owner, to think that there is a franchise out there that will get you so energized, that you leap out of your bed, every morning?
Here is an excerpt from a recent article I wrote over at the award winning OPEN FORUM by American Express website;
Part of my process includes asking a series of questions designed to get my candidates thinking about what it is they’d like to have in a franchise business of their own. During almost every consultation, I hear things like;
- “I would like to find something that energizes me.”
- “I would like to get up in the morning, and be excited to go into work.”
- “I want to own a business that excites me.”
- “I want to have fun.”
