You are most certainly familiar with Yahoo, MSN, and Google, right? Combined, those three companies, and the other smaller search engines bring in $8 billion dollars in revenue, annually.
Ken Ramberg (the former founder of JOBTRAK, now a division of Monster.com) and JJ Ramberg (an MSNBC anchor and the former Director of Marketing at Cooking.com) decided that all of that revenue could be put to good use...by funneling some of those dollars over to charitable organizations....
So, the Ramberg's have done just that. Here is what GoodSearch does:
"GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50-percent of its revenue to the
charities and schools designated by its users. It's a simple and compelling
concept. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search engine.
Because it's powered by Yahoo!, you get proven search results. The money
GoodSearch donates to your cause comes from its advertisers — the users and the
organizations do not spend a dime!"
- Do you think that some Veterans organizations could benefit from this interesting business model?
- With thousands of our young people coming back to our soil soon, if enough Veterans organizations sign up with GoodSearch, and start sharing in the revenue, do you think it would help?
{By the way, GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo!}
So far, I have counted only 20 Veterans organizations that have signed on with this great company. Do you know of some that could use a financial shot in the arm? Times are tough, economically, and all types of charitible agencies are hurting from a lack of donations.
If you would like to know how your favorite veterans organization can benefit greatoy form the searhces that you, and lots of folks you know are already doing online, go to the FAQ's page, and learn more. This is an easy way to help out Veterans!
