Franchise ownership is attractive to many people, and 2 segments of the population are increasingly investing in franchises of their own.

As the US economy continues to feel the impact of high fuel costs, the mortgage crisis, and corporate downsizings, many will be seeking alternatives to traditional employment. Small business ownership is one such alternative. There are over 25 million small businesses in the US!

Would anyone like to chime in on the % of veterans who are franchise owners?

The International Franchise Association commissioned a study of the franchise sector recently, and a story in The Indiana  Business Journal breaks down some of the figures. Read
